FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

 

1. What is your minimum order quantity?

Our MOQ is typically 20 pieces per item, and a full container load with mixed items.

 

2.  What is your lead time?

Our lead time varies from 45 to 60 days upon receiving the deposit. The production time for wood or bamboo furniture is usually longer than outdoor weaving furniture. Besides, the lead time during our peak season is longer than the slack season.

 

3.  What is your payment term?

Our payment term is T/T (30% deposit, 70% balance before shipment) or full payment in advance if total amount is less than US$5000. Higher deposit is required for bamboo furniture production, which is 50% deposit in advance and 50% balance paid before shipment.

 

4.  What is your delivery term?

Our delivery term is FOB Shenzhen China for full container load or EXW for less than container load.

 

5. What are my shipping options?

Our delivery term is normally ex-factory or FOB Ports of Shenzhen China, dependent on the quantity you buy. We can also help take care of the shipping if that is your preference. Based on the quantity you buy, we can offer either door-to-door, DAP or DDP services, with the shipping cost on your account. Please understand that certain shipping options may not be available for your region. Please reach out to us if you have any logistic concerns.

 

6.  How long will it take to ship to my country?

For international shipping, it depends on the product quantity and shipping address. For a specific estimate, please provide these details so that we can quote the most cost-effective option for you.

 

7.  How is your furniture packaged?

Our wood or bamboo furniture is usually wrapped with EPE film, protected with corner guards, cushioned by polystyrene panels, and placed inside double wall corrugated cardboard box. Fragile items are further crated for additional protection. However, our outdoor weaving furniture is wrapped with EPE film and Kraft paper for shipping. Please confirm with us if carton packaging is needed for such outdoor furniture.

 

8.  What is your product warranty?

Our warranty covers manufacturing defects or flaws within one year of shipment date from our factory. This warranty does not apply to any condition or damage which is not a defect, including anything resulting from neglect, misuse, or any condition resulting from incorrect or inadequate maintenance, cleaning or care, or any damage to the finish. If you receive our furniture with manufacturing defect, we’ll provide you with a replacement or give you a refund after the investigation of each claim.

 

9. How do I handle a quality claim?

To report any quality issues, please submit clear photos of the item (full picture of item & close-up of damage), along with PO# and description of the problem to: cs@vikenfurnishing.com. All reports are subject to investigation. Shipping damages must be claimed directly with the shipping company.

 

10. Can I get a sample?

Yes, you can.The sample charge is twice as much as our wholesale price and half of it can be refunded when you reorder per our MOQ. Your sample can be delivered immediately if it is readily available in stock. If not, we may produce it for you. In this case, the sample lead time will be confirmed separately. Please contact us to confirm details for the sample availability.

 

11.  Can you produce based on my design or specifications?

Yes, we offer custom manufacturing service with over 17 years OEM experience. Please share with us your design specs and we’ll have it priced for your approval.

 

12. Do you offer drop shipping service?

No, we don’t have this service at the moment. We might consider this option for the RTS furniture displayed on Alibaba.com, but we carry very limited stock for such products.
